This Craftsman-Southwest inspired rustic wind bell is called San Carlos and is part of our original Frontier Mission Wind Bell™ Collection. We combined the rustic grape vine motif on this bell with design elements from our San Xavier Mission to come up with a new offering to honor the Mission San Carlos Borromeo del Rio Carmelo in Carmel Valley. First built in 1797, this mission was near what is now Monterey, California. The bell features our signature grape motif with intricate details on the bell’s surface that find their inspiration from grapes on the vine.
The San Carlos windbell makes a gorgeous addition to any home, deck, patio, greenhouse, or garden. It is the perfect gift for anyone who loves rustic elegance.
Each of our contemporary mission bells is individually handcrafted in Southern Virginia by applying time-honored American Craftsman techniques. Every Frontier Mission Bell™ bears the monogram of the artist (Marc Staples) in the form of a small "M" on the striker. This work of art will stand out as part of your collection of modern rustic decor.
